In regard to the Harris County Tax Assessor’s news conference announcing the disqualification of a number of deputy voter registrars, Catherine Engelbrecht, president of True the Vote, an initiative of King Street Patriots, released the following statement:
“We are citizen-volunteers committed to fair and free elections. We were shocked by the sheer number of problematic registrations that have been discovered. The evidence uncovered suggests that there are thousands, most likely tens of thousands, of incomplete, inaccurate or false voter registrations. What we did was observe, investigate and report; it’s up to the authorities to take the appropriate action.
“If our elections are not fair, we are not truly free. I cannot look at my children and not want to do this to make sure their votes are not stolen. Our True the Vote volunteers are working night and day to ensure that elections in Harris County are accurate and that no one’s vote is stolen.”
Last year I wrote to the Secretary of State demanding that something be done about illegal voting in TX. We worked hard to get Voter ID during the last session, but were out gunned by the militant advocates who took over the debate, and Joe Strauss working hand in hand to not let these bills come out of committee.
Thank you for all this tedious hard work to clean out the corruption and mess. I assure you Dallas, El Paso, Austin, and especially San Antonio have many many fraudulent registrations on file and fraudalant votes have been recorded. Again, thank you so much. Were I younger I would be right there.
