How to Buy an Election in Under 9 Minutes

Last Friday, in just under nine minutes, America watched as our President offered up Get-Out-of-Deportation-Free cards in the hopes that it would buy him favor in key swing states. Deportations will be prevented for nearly 800,000 illegal immigrants, specifically those who've lived in the US since they were children. The plan outlined by Obama has drawn fierce fire by many on the right, but it's also found support from the likes of Sen. Marco Rubio and Focus on the Family. Who knows, if Obama had actually worked to build bipartisan support, maybe Congress would have actually approved it? Oh, wait, Congress wasn't asked to weigh in on this historic decision. But don't go blaming the President, because he says he didn't do it either. Has the pen Pres. Obama used to sign 127 other Executive Orders finally run out of ink? Highly unlikely. But having his name on this particular fiat wasn't strategically advisable. Hmm... how about using the Department of Homeland Security? Bingo. You see, fellow Americans, if you don't like the plan, you'll have to blame Janet Napolitano. That's right, it was Napolitano and DHS who decided to go ahead and roll out their own immigration policy. Don't blame Obama. But, hey, if you like the plan, then you can sign on with Obama for America and help him pass the DREAM Act because suddenly Pres. Obama really wants to get this done. Yeah, right. Whatever.

Use these links to tell your Congressman and Senator to stand up to Obama and call this whole charade out for the shamnesty that it is. It's not about DHS, it's not about the DREAM Act, it's about winning an election. Congress should officially reprimand the President, reprimand Napolitano, and immediately repeal this new DHS policy; even if they agree with the policy, they cannot deny the underhanded, unethical, illegal way it was enacted. Truth be told, this should be the final chapter in a new Obama biography "Dreams of My Impeachment"...but it won't happen. Who will do something? Anyone? Take note of those who stand up now and remember them on November 7th. Forget the rest.
